About The Position

Join the South Burlington, Vermont team to help customers remove unwanted items from their homes and properties. Teams of two travel in company trucks, provide customers with estimates and final pricing, and transport items for responsible disposal through recycling, donation, and waste management facilities. The role includes commercial vehicle inspections, morning meetings, and ongoing communication with the operations team. The company emphasizes safety, personal growth, entrepreneurship, and community service. Full-time employees work four shifts per week, while part-time employees work two to three shifts per week. Shifts are 8–12 hours, and operations run seven days a week. Paid training is provided, with immediate start dates available. Total average earnings are $24–$28 per hour, with additional profit-share bonuses based on completed jobs.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years old, as required for commercial truck insurance.
Have a valid driver’s license; a CDL is not required.
Have a clean driving history for three years, with no points, suspensions, or violations.
Have a positive and friendly attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be physically able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

Inspect the commercial vehicle at the beginning of the day.
Attend the morning team meeting.
Work in a two-person team to visit customers’ homes and properties and remove unwanted items.
Provide detailed estimates or quotes and final pricing to customers.
Dispose of collected items responsibly through recycling, donation, and waste management facilities.
Maintain communication with the operations team throughout the day.
Help customers and the community through the removal service.
