The Dr. Loyd V. Allen USP Compounding Grant-funded Experiential Internship is a program designed to provide an early career pharmacist or other healthcare professional with knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical compounding at USP. This grant honors Dr. Loyd V. Allen, Jr., a significant figure in compounding pharmacy. The program is supported by ARL BioPharma and managed independently by USP for candidate selection and work oversight. The selected candidate will engage in projects related to USP compounding standards, research current trends, develop implementation tools, conduct laboratory studies, and support Compounding Expert Committee activities.
