About The Position

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience operating dozers in heavy civil construction.
• Strong understanding of grade, slope, and elevation control.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to Kansas City job sites.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working around GPS or grade control systems.
• Experience with government contracts and compliance.
• Experience with heavy highway, roadwork, or mass excavation projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers (D6–D8 or similar) for rough and finish grading, site preparation and earthmoving, roadway construction, and embankments.
• Read and interpret grade stakes, cut/fill plans, and project layouts.
• Work closely with foremen, grade checkers, and other equipment operators.
• Maintain proper slopes, grades, and elevations according to project specifications.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Follow ESS safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and productive.
• Assist with other equipment or labor tasks as needed.
