About The Position

The Bell Person/Door Person is part of the Reception team at Crosby Street Hotel and is responsible for greeting, receiving, and welcoming hotel guests. The role makes the first impression on arriving guests and requires exceptional attention to detail. Duties include meeting and greeting guests, handling and storing luggage, performing doorman duties, and making deliveries.

Requirements

Customer service experience.
Excellent knowledge of New York City.
Good physical condition and proficiency in lifting and handling techniques.
Able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Greet and bid farewell to guests in a friendly manner.
Secure and organize luggage storage.
Hail taxis when required.
Help guests become familiar with the neighborhood.
Handle luggage and perform doorman duties and deliveries.
