Door-to-Door Canvasser - Brampton, ON
About The Position
OSL is seeking enthusiastic Door-to-Door Canvassers to approach and engage potential voters in Brampton, ON. This is a frontline, physically active role requiring individuals to be on their feet, walk neighborhoods, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and use their personal vehicle for travel. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in the field, confident speaking with the public, and committed to performing the work accurately. This is a 15-week contract role with the possibility of extension or transfer. OSL is an award-winning company recognized as one of Canada's Top 50 Best Managed Companies for the past 8 years.
Requirements
- Must be a conservative voter, or bipartisan with no political affiliations.
- Full-Time Availability: Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday (12:00PM-8:00PM), Sunday (10:00AM-6:00PM).
- Comfortable with standing, walking, and being on your feet for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
- Smartphone required for field data collection.
Nice To Haves
- Previous professional canvassing or field experience is a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing within assigned neighborhoods on behalf of a political party to understand voter views.
- Ask standardized questions and accurately capture responses.
- Collect contact information when voluntarily provided.
- Represent OSL and clients with professionalism and integrity.
