Door-to-Door Canvasser - Kitchener South
About The Position
OSL is seeking enthusiastic Door-to-Door Canvassers to approach and engage potential voters in the Kitchener South-Hespeler area. This is a frontline, physically active role that involves walking neighborhoods, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and using a personal vehicle for travel. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in the field, confident speaking with the public, and committed to performing the work accurately and professionally. This is a 15-week contract position with the possibility of extension or transfer. Requirements
- Must be a conservative voter, or bipartisan with no political affiliations.
- Full-Time Availability: Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday (12:00PM-8:00PM), Sunday (10:00AM-6:00PM).
- Comfortable with standing, walking, and being on your feet for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
- Smartphone required for field data collection.
Nice To Haves
- Previous professional canvassing or field experience is a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing within assigned neighborhoods on behalf of a political party to understand voter views.
- Ask standardized questions and accurately capture responses.
- Collect contact information when voluntarily provided.
- Represent OSL and its clients with professionalism and integrity.
