Door-to-Door Canvasser - Kitchener Centre
About The Position
OSL is seeking enthusiastic Door-to-Door Canvassers for a 15-week contract role in the Kitchener Centre area. This is a physically active, frontline position where you will engage potential voters, walk neighborhoods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. You will use your personal vehicle to travel between assigned areas. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in the field, confident speaking with the public, and committed to performing the work accurately and professionally. Requirements
- Must be a conservative voter, or bipartisan with no political affiliations.
- Full-Time Availability: Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday (12:00PM-8:00PM), Sunday (10:00AM-6:00PM).
- Comfortable with standing, walking, and being on your feet for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
- Smartphone required for field data collection.
Nice To Haves
- Previous professional canvassing or field experience is a strong asset.
Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing within assigned neighborhoods on behalf of a political party to understand voter views.
- Ask standardized questions and accurately capture responses.
- Collect contact information when voluntarily provided.
- Represent OSL and its clients with professionalism and integrity.
