About The Position

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to Price Chopper customers. Prepares, bakes, and merchandises bakery products under the direct supervision of the bakery manager or first clerk to support sales. Maintains a clean and sanitized workstation in accordance with corporate and state sanitation regulations. This position has a 4:00 a.m. opening shift.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bakery operations in the retail store, including preparation, baking, merchandising, and final presentation of bakery products.
• Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service; smile, make eye contact, and thank customers when fulfilling requests.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Assist with or create customer special orders, such as cake orders.
• Operate bakery department equipment, including ovens, mixers, and utensils.
• Follow corporate and state sanitation regulations and maintain a neat, clean workstation.
• Follow state and corporate safety standards.
• Control shrink by adhering to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties assigned by management and follow company policies and procedures.
