About The Position

The Donor Relations & Database Management Specialist will align his/her scope of work with Jawonio's mission, while incorporating Jawonio's Core Values as the guiding principle for all work activities. This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Jawonio Foundation Director and the Chief Development and Communications Officer. The role supports donor engagement, fundraising strategy implementation, reporting, stewardship, event logistics, grants support, and communications initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of nonprofit donor relations experience.
Expertise in Raiser’s Edge NXT / CRM.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Business Suite, and social media platforms.
Extensive experience in Raiser’s Edge/Blackbaud.
Exceptional understanding of philanthropy and nonprofit operations.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Commitment to the mission of Jawonio.

Responsibilities

Assist in the implementation of a strategic donor relations program.
Support Raiser’s Edge integration with donation and event webpages.
Utilize analytics to guide decision making.
Generate comprehensive donor reports to guide engagement activities.
Provide monthly reports to Finance Department.
Schedule and manage donor acknowledgement, recognition, and cultivation tracking processes.
Maintain online charity profiles including Charity Navigator and GuideStar.
Assist with social media content and marketing efforts as needed.
Assist in agency and community events that promote Jawonio.
Research opportunities for philanthropy, grants, matching gifts, and volunteer programs.
Collaborate with staff and volunteers on donor engagement initiatives.
Provide clerical and administrative support.
Maintain stakeholder contact lists.
Solicit in kind donations and sponsorships.
