About The Position

The Donor Outreach and Volunteer Manager plays a pivotal role in strengthening the organization's community engagement and fundraising efforts. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and engage donors and volunteers, ensuring sustained support for the organization's mission. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in donor relations, volunteer management, or community outreach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills daily to craft compelling messages that resonate with donors and volunteers, fostering trust and long-term commitment.
• Organizational skills are essential for managing multiple outreach campaigns and volunteer schedules simultaneously, ensuring smooth operations.
• Analytical skills help interpret engagement data to refine strategies and improve outreach effectiveness.
• Proficiency with donor management software enables efficient tracking and reporting of donor and volunteer activities.
• Interpersonal skills are critical for building and maintaining positive relationships with diverse stakeholders, enhancing the overall community support for the organization.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working within nonprofit organizations or charitable foundations.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Raiser’s Edge.
• Event planning and coordination experience.
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices and volunteer engagement strategies.
• Certification in Volunteer Management or Fundraising (e.g., CFRE) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive outreach strategies to identify and engage potential donors and volunteers.
