About The Position

The Arc Minnesota is hiring a Donor Information Specialist to support fundraising and donor engagement through donor database administration, reporting, analytics, and stewardship activities. This role serves as the primary administrator of the organization's donor relationship management (CRM) system and helps ensure donor and fundraising data is accurate, organized, and actionable. The Donor Information Specialist develops reports, dashboards, and insights that support fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and organizational decision-making while partnering with Development, Finance, Programs, and other teams to strengthen fundraising operations and donor relationships.

Requirements

  • Candidate must reside in the State of Minnesota
  • 2+ years of experience in donor relations, fundraising operations, nonprofit administration, data management, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience managing, analyzing, and reporting on complex data
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM/database platform
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights
  • Ability to interpret data and communicate findings effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Knowledge of fundraising, donor databases, and nonprofit development operations

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator of the donor CRM system, including Salesforce
  • Maintain accurate donor records and ensure data integrity and consistency
  • Create and distribute reports, dashboards, fundraising metrics, and donor insights
  • Analyze donor and fundraising data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Support fundraising strategy through donor segmentation, campaign reporting, and data analysis
  • Develop appeal lists and donor audiences for fundraising and stewardship initiatives
  • Coordinate gift processing and reconciliation with the Finance Team
  • Collaborate across departments to improve reporting, data quality, and development operations
  • Maintain documentation, data standards, and best practices related to donor information management
  • Provide CRM support and training to internal users
  • Support donor acknowledgments, recognition, and stewardship activities
