Donations Processor - Shakopee, MN - (Full-Time)
About The Position
The Donations Processor receives donated goods while providing excellent customer service to Goodwill donors. The role sorts donated goods and delivers them to merchandise pricing staff to meet daily production standards and goals. It promotes and adheres to Goodwill-Easter Seals’ mission and values. The role follows store policies, procedures, and directives; contributes to a welcoming customer experience; helps provide a work environment where program participants can train and develop toward their goals; and helps maintain a safe environment for employees and customers. A typical full-time schedule is 35–40 hours per week, with open availability for a combination of days, nights, and weekends totaling at least 35 hours weekly. The employee must be willing and able to be cross-trained and to train new employees.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, and customers.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Excellent decision-making skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to interact with a diverse population in a human services setting.
- High initiative and self-motivation, perseverance, and commitment to completing work.
- Open schedule availability for a combination of days, nights, and weekends, totaling at least 35 hours per week.
- Willingness and ability to be cross-trained and train new employees.
Nice To Haves
- 0–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
