The Donation Assistant/Attendant is responsible for selecting items to be priced, removing trash from donated merchandise, cleaning merchandise, sorting merchandise for the department pricer, tagging items, stocking the sales floor, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area. This role also assists pricers in achieving sales and production goals and helps customers on the sales floor. The position requires the ability to identify saleable merchandise, prepare it for pricing, work effectively in a team and production environment, and provide good customer service. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work a flexible schedule are also important. Some retail or production experience is desired but not required.
