About The Position

This role involves providing client-centered crisis intervention for patients in a hospital setting and for victims calling the program. The advocate will adhere to all policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, and assist victims in planning for their safety. The position also includes providing crisis counseling, emotional support, and education about domestic violence dynamics, trauma response, legal options, and available resources. Accurate and timely data entry into the database and medical records is also a key responsibility.
