About The Position

The Dog Daycare Attendant supervises off-leash play for groups of social daycare dogs, reading canine body language and responding appropriately to prevent stress and overstimulation. The role maintains a safe, clean, and welcoming play area. Work is primarily outdoors, with play moving indoors during inclement weather. Attendants maintain a maximum ratio of 12 dogs per attendant. Daily duties include assisting the front desk and kennel team with arrivals and other tasks before 9 a.m.; leading and supervising structured play from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.; taking a break from noon to 1 p.m.; and resetting play areas and supporting the team after 3 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license.
Positive attitude, dependable attendance, and a team-focused mindset.
Ability to stand for extended periods, work outdoors, and safely handle dogs of different sizes and energy levels.
Weekend and holiday flexibility is required.

Reset play areas after 3 p.m. and support the rest of the team as needed.
