About The Position
Trellis is hiring an attorney for a contract position supporting its AI-driven legal intelligence platform. The role involves reviewing and analyzing civil court documents to determine case outcomes, classifying verdict details, and labeling key information such as monetary awards. The attorney will use custom web-based software to ensure data accuracy and provide feedback on software functionality to improve the user experience. The position is fully remote, offers 20–40 hours per week, pays $20–$30 per hour, and is expected to last 3–6 or more months.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality work under deadlines.
- Proficiency in reviewing civil court filings.
Nice To Haves
- Active Illinois licensure is strongly preferred.
- Experience with state court filings is a plus.
