About The Position

STAT Informatic Solutions is looking for a Document Processing Specialist to join their team. This role involves managing and processing records with accuracy, care, and confidentiality. It is an onsite role with occasional travel required within the metropolitan area for coverage at other locations. The pay rate is $16.00 per hour, and the schedule is full-time, Monday - Friday, with hours determined by business needs (9:00 am - 5:30 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm).

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate required.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with computers, office equipment, and relevant software is preferred to effectively perform daily production tasks.
• Working knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding information governance and medical recordkeeping requirements, when applicable.
• Must successfully pass all pre-employment screenings in accordance with client and company policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review and receive documents, as applicable.
• Prepare documents accurately for scanning in accordance with established company and client guidelines.
• Perform high-quality scanning of records, ensuring the document count aligns with the batch cover sheet and that image quality meets required standards.
• Verify and index documents using company systems and software to release them into the production workflow.
• Consistently meet daily production goals set by operations leadership.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with both internal team members and external clients.
• Comply with all HIPAA regulations and confidentiality policies at all times.
• Assist in training new team members by sharing knowledge of production processes and utilizing STAT Informatic Solutions’ training modules, as assigned.
• Monitor processing queues and respond as needed to ensure workflow continuity.
• Support quality control efforts and assist in the daily processing of reports, as directed.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards outlined in the employee handbook.
• Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
