As a Document Operations Specialist I, you’ll help launch and lead our mailroom operations—building processes, supporting a strong team, and driving success in a growing environment. A Document Operations Specialist I is responsible for maintaining high levels of productivity and quality to align with performance standards, customer documented instructions, requirements, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

  • Proficient in basic computer operations, including data entry and use of standard office and scanning software.

Responsibilities

  • Open, prepare, sort, batch, and perform quality control checks on documents in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Sort documents using the proper methodology and apply appropriate cover sheets in accordance with training and procedures.
  • Preparing documents to ensure document integrity for imaging.
  • Accurately identify and verify P.O. Box numbers, client names, and patient names on all documents to ensure proper processing based on client-specific criteria.
  • Operate Marc cart for transporting documents trays around the office.
  • Ensure compliance with HiTRUST certification requirements, including working on one client at a time, returning unprocessed mail to the designated P.O. Box shelf, and distributing processed mail to the correct scanning stations.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 50% of the workday.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
