About The Position

The Document Management Lead supports the HIM Operations Manager in promoting, establishing, and maintaining standardized document control and capture solutions throughout the enterprise. This role leads the Quality Control Indexing team to ensure all clinical documentation is accessible in the patient’s electronic health record within specified timeframes while maintaining data integrity. The Lead serves as the point of contact for decentralized document submission and is responsible for providing training and education. They have primary responsibility for the enterprise document management development and support activities.

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • 3 years previous experience in admin/office within healthcare related field
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Computer knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with medical terminology and medical records to identify medical record form content.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree
  • 4-5 years previous experience in HIM.
  • RHIT or RHIA credentials
  • Experience with Epic or similar EMR and document management electronic health record systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
