About The Position

The Document Control Specialist plays a critical role in managing and maintaining the integrity of financial and motor vehicle documentation within the organization. This position ensures all documents are accurately recorded, securely stored, and easily retrievable to support requirements and internal policies. The specialist will collaborate closely with various departments to facilitate the smooth flow of information and maintain control of key paper or electronic documents. The role helps mitigate risks associated with document mismanagement and supports audit readiness. Ultimately, the Document Control Specialist contributes to operational efficiency by maintaining a reliable and organized document management system.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to assist members in a warm and professional manner.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with a courteous attitude and ability to provide conflict resolutions.
  • Possesses professional maturity with a pleasant and patient phone etiquette.

  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions, make decisions and solve problems.
  • Detail oriented with an ability to multi-task while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft (MS Office) environment and all job-related software programs.
  • Maintaining a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and a strong work ethic is required.
  • Proactively improve or acquire new skills, increase knowledge of credit union laws and regulations, as well as complete required training in a timely manner.
  • Regular in person attendance is required.
