Document Control Manager

Luster National•Sacramento, CA
•$110,000 - $175,000

About The Position

Luster is building a talent pool for future Document Control Manager openings supporting large, complex heavy-civil infrastructure programs. Projects may include highways, roads, bridges, bus and rail transit, international airports, and water/wastewater infrastructure, delivered through traditional and alternative delivery methods. These roles own the program record by maintaining the systems, procedures, and controls that keep drawings, submittals, RFIs, and correspondence current, traceable, and defensible. This posting is for anticipated future hiring needs rather than a currently available position; selected candidates may be activated in Luster’s talent pool and notified first when a project need arises. The role may lead program-wide document control, including staff direction and workload allocation across contracts, phases, and field offices. It develops and maintains document control procedures and conventions, administers the enterprise document management system, oversees document intake and closeout, ensures approved document revisions are in use, reports document control performance, supports audits and corrective actions, trains program personnel and incoming project staff, coordinates workflows across project disciplines, and oversees turnover and closeout records. Scope and complexity vary with experience level. Luster describes the role as a general outline of the work and not an exhaustive list of duties. Applicants needing accommodations during the application process may contact [email protected].
