Luster is building a talent pool for future Document Control Manager roles supporting large, complex heavy civil infrastructure programs, including highways, roads, bridges, transit, aviation, and water/wastewater projects delivered through traditional and alternative methods. This is not a posting for a currently available opportunity; candidates may be interviewed in advance of future hiring needs and notified first when a project need arises. The Document Control Manager owns the program record and the systems, procedures, and controls that keep drawings, submittals, RFIs, and correspondence current, traceable, and defensible. The role may lead the document control function across a program, directing staff and allocating work across contracts, phases, and field offices. Scope and complexity vary with experience level. The position oversees document management systems and document flows, ensures controlled documents are current and properly used, monitors reporting and audit readiness, trains program and contractor personnel, and coordinates with project management, design, construction, contracts, legal, and quality teams. It also oversees turnover and closeout records and confirms that transfers are complete and indexed.
