Document Control Manager

Luster National•Fresno, CA
•$110,000 - $175,000

About The Position

Luster is building a talent pool for future Document Control Manager roles supporting large, complex heavy-civil infrastructure programs, including highways, roads, bridges, bus and rail transit, international airports, and water/wastewater projects. Programs may use traditional or alternative delivery methods. These roles own the program record and the systems, procedures, and controls that keep drawings, submittals, RFIs, and correspondence current, traceable, and defensible. This is a future-hiring opportunity rather than a specific currently available position; selected candidates may be activated in the talent pool and notified first when a project need arises. The role may lead the document control function across a program, direct assigned staff, and allocate workload across contracts, phases, and field offices. It develops and maintains document control procedures, conventions, revision controls, and retention schedules; administers the enterprise document management system; oversees document intake, distribution, tracking, and closeout; monitors performance metrics; prepares records for audits and reviews; trains program and contractor personnel; coordinates with project, design, construction, contracts, legal, and quality teams; and oversees turnover and closeout records. Scope and complexity vary with experience level. Expected salary is $110,000–$175,000 per year ($53–$84 per hour), with the eventual offer depending on factors including experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location. Luster states that it is committed to an inclusive work environment and provides equal consideration to qualified applicants. Positions may be subject to background checks and drug testing after a conditional offer, in accordance with applicable regulations.
