About The Position

The Document Compliance Specialist is the primary paperwork contact between the Driveway Care Center and Driveway customers. This senior customer service and administrative position supports a timely, seamless customer experience by explaining the paperwork process, validating supporting documents, and preparing deal-related paperwork. The role also coordinates vehicle availability with the selling dealership and hands off completed deals to the appropriate Dealership Accounting team.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Sense of urgency.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in various dealership systems, including DMS, DMV, e-contracting, and digital contracting systems.
• Ability to solve basic math calculations.
• Positive customer service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate paperwork requirements and processes to customers and answer follow-up questions.
• Create and complete deal-related paperwork in the dealership management system (DMS), bank approval systems, and protection product systems when applicable.
• Transact paperwork with customers using digital tools where possible and wet ink when necessary.
• Process paperwork to meet Business Office, proof-of-delivery, state-specific DMV, and lender requirements.
• Scan and send deal documentation to the Deal Posting team in the Regional Business Office or to the Dealership Accountant in a stand-alone business office.
• Work with Business Offices to track deal receivables and follow up on outstanding items to ensure collection of all money and bank stipulations for contract funding.
• Coordinate vehicle availability with the selling dealership and hand off fully executed deals to the respective Dealership Accounting team.
