About The Position

TForce Freight is seeking a part-time Dockworker to help ensure customer freight is loaded safely and efficiently and delivered on time in the same condition it was received. The role is part of a safety-focused team and involves operating powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, hydraulic jacks, and extended belts. Tractors are used to maneuver vehicles safely and efficiently, including in tight spaces. No CDL is required. TForce Freight is a North American less-than-truckload freight carrier and a subsidiary of TFI International. Its services include regional, interregional, long-haul, and cross-border transportation.

Requirements

No CDL required.
Provide impeccable customer service and demonstrate dedication.
Perform essential job functions safely without obvious risk of injury to oneself or coworkers.
Be able to read, write, and speak English.
Be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
Have strong organizational and time-management skills.
Hold forklift operator certification.
Demonstrate a customer-focused, team-oriented work ethic and a safety-focused approach.
Be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Print bills of lading (BOL) for daily deliveries.
Process and palletize damaged penny and RTV merchandise.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
Help maintain and care for dock equipment.
Unload cargo using cranes or forklifts.
Secure shipments upon arrival.
