About The Position
TForce Freight is seeking a reliable, safety- and customer-focused individual to join its logistics team as a part-time Dockworker. The role helps ensure freight is loaded safely and efficiently so it reaches customers on time and in good condition. It includes operating powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts and hydraulic jacks. TForce Freight is a less-than-truckload (LTL) freight carrier in North America and a subsidiary of TFI International. Its transportation and logistics services cover regional, interregional, long-haul, and cross-border shipments, supported by more than 178 service centers and advanced tracking technology. The listed salary is $21.97 per hour.
Requirements
- Forklift operator certification.
- Excellent customer service and dedication.
- Ability to perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to oneself or coworkers.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Responsibilities
- Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Process and palletize damaged penny and RTV merchandise.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
- Help maintain and care for dock equipment.
- Unload cargo using cranes or forklifts.
- Secure shipments upon arrival and before departure.
