About The Position

TForce Freight is seeking a reliable, safety- and customer-focused individual to join its logistics team as a part-time Dockworker. The role ensures freight is loaded safely and efficiently so it can be delivered on time and in good condition. Duties include operating powered warehouse equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, hydraulic jacks, and extended belts, and using tractors to maneuver vehicles safely, including in tight spaces. The position may also require safely operating a tractor and trailer to deliver or pick up freight from customers while maintaining a positive, professional, safety-focused approach.

Requirements

Forklift operator certification.
Impeccable customer service and dedication.
Able to perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to self or co-workers.
Able to read, write, and speak English.
U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Positive, safety-focused, and professional approach.

Responsibilities

Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Process and palletize damaged penny and RTV merchandise.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace.
Help maintain and care for dock equipment.
Unload cargo using cranes or forklifts.
Secure shipments upon arrival and before departure.
Load freight safely and efficiently.
Operate powered warehouse equipment and maneuver vehicles with tractors.
Operate a tractor and trailer as needed to deliver or pick up freight from customers.
