About The Position

TForce Freight is seeking a part-time Dockworker to help ensure customer freight is loaded safely and efficiently, delivered on time, and kept in the same condition in which it was received. The Dockworker is part of a dynamic, safety-focused team and operates powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, hydraulic jacks, and extended belts. Tractors are used to maneuver vehicles safely and efficiently, including in tight spaces.

Requirements

• No CDL is required.
• Provide impeccable customer service and demonstrate dedication.
• Perform essential job functions safely without obvious risk of injury to oneself or coworkers.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
• Have strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Hold forklift operator certification.
• Demonstrate a customer-focused, team-oriented work ethic and a safety-focused approach.
• Be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Process and palletize damaged penny and RTV merchandise.
• Follow all safety protocols to help maintain a secure workplace.
• Help maintain and care for dock equipment.
• Unload cargo using cranes or forklifts.
• Secure shipments upon arrival.
