About The Position

TForce Freight is seeking a part-time Dockworker to help ensure freight is loaded safely and efficiently so customers’ shipments arrive on time and in the condition received. The position is part of a safety-focused team and involves operating powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts, cherry pickers, hydraulic jacks, and extended belts. Tractors are used to maneuver vehicles safely and efficiently, including in tight spaces. TForce Freight is a North American less-than-truckload (LTL) freight carrier and a subsidiary of TFI International. Its services include regional, interregional, long-haul, and cross-border transportation, supported by more than 178 service centers and advanced tracking technology. The listed pay rate is $26.50.

Requirements

No CDL is required.
Forklift operator certification.
Able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Able to perform essential job functions safely, without obvious risk of injury to oneself or coworkers.

Responsibilities

Operate yard trucks to manage dock needs and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Print bills of lading (BOLs) for daily deliveries.
Process and palletize damaged penny and RTV merchandise.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure workplace.
Help maintain and care for dock equipment.
Unload cargo using cranes or forklifts.
Secure shipments upon arrival.
Load freight safely and efficiently.
