About The Position

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is hiring a hardworking, reliable Loader/Unloader for its medical waste transfer station in Stow, Ohio. This is a highly physical, fast-paced role handling regulated medical waste and sharps containers. The role is full-time and permanent, with 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on the second shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The stated pay rate is a non-negotiable $21.00 per hour.

The company provides healthcare safety systems and medical waste collection and treatment services for hospitals, medical centers, surgical centers, nursing homes, and other healthcare customers. The role supports the safe and efficient movement of medical waste and customer orders.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a labor-intensive or warehouse environment.
• Comfort with repetitive heavy lifting throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks, handling regulated medical waste and sharps containers.
• Repeatedly lift containers weighing 50–75 pounds throughout the shift.
• Push and maneuver four-wheeled carts weighing up to 200 pounds.
• Weigh incoming waste using the Weighbridge system.
• Prepare, pack, and stage outgoing customer orders for transport.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work with teammates to ensure transports are ready on schedule.
