About The Position

Levin Furniture & Mattress is hiring a full-time Dock Lead. The role handles merchandise movement and processing, supports visual display replenishment and customer pick-ups, and helps maintain a safe and clean work environment. The position pays $17.50 per hour, and applicants may apply in store or online; walk-ins are welcome to complete an application.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.
• Basic numerical reasoning skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately, neatly, and efficiently.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills.
• GERS or equivalent experience is necessary.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and repeatedly lift cartons weighing 100 pounds or more.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload, load, wrap, unwrap, move, lift, and stage merchandise.
• Assist the Design team with receiving and placing products to replenish visual displays as needed.
• Assist with customer pick-ups.
• Use safe and secure material-handling methods and distribute merchandise according to product-handling standards.
• Use safe and secure loading methods to avoid damage.
• Generate FSR, CYCL, and incoming and outgoing IST documents, and complete related daily tasks, including price tags on incoming merchandise.
• Report errors found on documents to a supervisor.
• Complete all documentation neatly and accurately.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Perform other assigned duties, including light housekeeping, grounds maintenance, and painting.
