About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a customer-focused Dock & Door Install Technician to install, troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair dock and door equipment. The role also performs planned maintenance, welding, service-van and inventory maintenance, and job-completion paperwork. The position involves extensive travel of over 20%.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Ability to travel extensively (over 20%).
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Welding experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and customer care skills.

Nice To Haves

• Technical school graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair dock and door equipment.
• Perform assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
• Weld as required.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork upon completion of each job.
