Great Lakes Wine & Spirits continues to grow as we seek a Put-Away Dock Checker for our warehouse facilities in Detroit. The Dock Checker is responsible for sorting and putting away product within the warehouse ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. These duties involve scanning and putting away non-damaged products correctly in a safe and efficient manner. Other duties include but not limited to assisting on returns dock and light janitorial as needed.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
High School Diploma/GED
Ability to be active and on your feet for an entire shift
Ability to frequently lift and carry 55 lbs., and push or pull up to 100 lbs.
Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and any applicable contracts, signed agreements, and work rules.
Cooperates with all management and staff of GLWAS.
Follows all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position.
Use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities.
Satisfactory completion of pre-employment screenings including a background check on a criminal record, physical evaluation, agility (lift) test, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Hi-Lo / Pallet Jack experience (preferred - willing to train)

Responsibilities
