Dock Associate (Part-Time Evenings)
About The Position
Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply is hiring a part-time Dock Associate at its Highspire, Pennsylvania location. This role supports warehouse operations by loading and unloading delivery vehicles, organizing and tracking stock, and maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area. The position requires following OSHA regulations and company safety policies and promptly reporting unsafe conditions, equipment problems, or other safety concerns to management. The schedule is 20–25 hours per week on evening shifts, starting between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM and typically ending around 7:00 PM. Starting pay is $16.65 per hour. The company describes the schedule as dependable and offers paid training.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Able to lift and carry 75 pounds.
- Must have a highly reliable work/school performance record.
- Reliable transportation to report to work as scheduled.
- Flexibility to work part-time evening hours.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload products and supplies from delivery vehicles.
- Organize and track warehouse stock to support inventory management.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe by storing products correctly and disposing of waste and recyclables properly.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Immediately notify management of unsafe conditions, equipment problems, or safety concerns.
