About The Position

The DNOC Technician - Live Events is an early-career role in Deluxe Cinema’s Digital Cinema Distribution group, providing front-line theatrical support for live events delivered to movie theaters across North America. The technician prepares participating theaters before events, provides real-time support while events are on screen, and maintains accurate operational records between events. Training on satellite and electronic content-delivery networks is provided during onboarding; prior satellite or e-delivery experience is not required. Live events average 3–5 per month, typically last 5–7 hours, and usually occur during evenings and on weekends. Live-event support is performed on-site in the South Jordan, Utah office. Non-event work follows a hybrid schedule of two days in the office and three days working from home. Pre-event testing and day-to-day DNOC operations take place during the normal work week. When weekend work is required, operators are notified of schedule changes at least one week in advance, and schedule adjustments are open to discussion. Deluxe Cinema is a wholly owned subsidiary of Platinum Equity and provides entertainment-industry services and technologies for production, post-production, theatrical release, broadcast, home entertainment, archiving, and asset management. The Digital Cinema Distribution group manages digital and non-digital content distribution to theaters, along with related delivery support functions. Deluxe is a global media and entertainment services company employing over 3,500 people worldwide.
