About The Position

Processes all Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) paperwork for loans, ensuring perfection of the credit union's lien on the title. Also provides lending support services that flex with the lending needs of the credit union, Members, Dealers, Staff and other departments.

Requirements

  • One to three years of similar or related experience.
  • A high school education or GED.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are critical.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Resourcefulness in solving problems and providing solutions.
  • Strong computer skills with Work, Excel, Outlook and other relevant software.
  • Some lifting required (up to 30 pounds), continuous sitting, occasional standing and occasional walking.
  • Finger dexterity while using computer.
  • Occasional talking and hearing in person and on the telephone.
  • Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and continuous clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle or arrange for own transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibits expertise with all Department of Motor Vehicle paperwork on consumer loans, releases titles on paid off loans, files titles, processes payoffs, monitors reports to ensure the credit union's lien position has been perfected on collateral, etc.
  • Uses problem solving and decision-making skills to assist front line staff, dealers and members when answering questions related to title processing.
  • Serves as a resource for front line staff answering questions through phone and email communication relating to lending systems, policies, rules regulations, procedures, practices, products, services and questions related to lending and title processing.
  • Stays current on applicable regulations, credit union policies, operational controls, safety measures, service, and security procedures to ensure compliance throughout assigned areas of the credit union.
  • Proactively performs other related duties as required.
