About The Position

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR company, is seeking a Division Materials Intern for its North American Materials team in Denton, Texas. The internship is for students currently enrolled in college. The intern will contribute to projects involving requirements gathering, process automation, system consolidation, supplier-part data alignment, and support for materials teams across North America.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a college program in Engineering, Data Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Exceptional Microsoft Office skills.
Motivation to learn new technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask.
Self-starter and resourceful.
Strong professionalism.
Analytical skills.
Interest in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on tests and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Assist with requirements gathering.
Automate processes using emerging technologies, including low-code tools and dashboard creation.
Support system consolidation activities related to North American Materials.
Lead data alignment on parts for suppliers across PACCAR North American plants.
Support multiple materials teams across North America.
