About The Position

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR company, is hiring a Materials Systems Intern to support its North American Materials team in Denton, Texas. The internship is for students currently enrolled in college and involves projects and reporting related to data visualization, SharePoint updates, data consolidation and validation, and process automation.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related program.
Exceptional Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask.
Self-starter and resourceful.
Strong professionalism.
Analytical ability and interest in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on tests.

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of SQL.
Basic understanding of reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Create and update data visualizations using Tableau or Power BI.
Work with business units to define updates to SharePoint websites.
Support data-consolidation efforts by creating data-validation scripts.
Automate manual processes using automation technology, including robotic process automation (RPA).
