Requirements

  • 1+ Years Retail Experience required
  • 3+ Years Managerial Experience required
  • Microsoft Office Products High
  • Basic Retail Operations High
  • Inventory Control Medium
  • Strong financial acumen with excellent negotiation Medium
  • Use of Technology (computer, tablets, etc..) High
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
  • We require proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree Business, related field, and/or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manages overall sales performance of district
  • Maximizes store transaction closing ratios
  • Develops and implements in-store strategies to negate competitor’s efforts
  • Drives sales to meet or exceed budget
  • Executes the company’s selling program
  • Executes sales process for new & existing merchandise
  • Maintains awareness of competitor’s advertisements and services offered
  • Resolves customer issues as needed
  • Conducts scheduled sales meetings
  • Manages overall financial performance of the district
  • Manages targeted variable expenses of the district
  • Reviews performance and provides development of each associate
  • Focuses on the development of Senior Store Managers/Store Managers
  • Manages the strategic action plans for the district
  • Approves the schedule for all associates
  • Ensures all associates are assigned to the appropriate location for period end payroll reports
  • Prepares weekly financial reviews for Regional Manager
  • Manages the execution of the clearance center program and pricing
  • Manages inventory and inventory shrinkage levels
  • Audits store cash handling procedures
  • Ensures federal, state, and local laws, company policies and operating procedures are followed
  • Ensures that all lay-a-ways and refunds are current
  • Maintains company store appearance standards throughout district
  • Manages new store openings, remodels, and closings
  • Recruits, interviews, and hires partners
  • Maintains proper market staffing ratio
  • Identifies needs and schedules training with market trainer
  • Reviews traffic counters with advertising evaluating success of sales promotions and execution
  • Reviews and provides feedback on store(s) sku performance
  • Partners with operations manager on current movement of merchandise and assists with inventory re-ordering
  • Executes current merchandising plan
  • Ensure that all assigned missions are accurately and timely complete within store/district.
  • Maintains proper store pricing strategies
  • Ensures that merchandise and POP is current and displayed appropriately
  • Ensures that all point of purchase materials is current and displayed properly
  • Ensures consistency of store pricing
  • Completes other projects and special assignments as requested by supervisor
  • Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all
  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts
  • Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation
  • Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations
  • Execute team member performance improvement plans, progressive discipline, and terminations when appropriate per Company policy
  • Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
