About The Position

CarsDirect and Auto Credit Express, part of Internet Brands’ automotive family, are seeking an energetic, outgoing Outside Sales Manager for the Automotive Division. The opening serves the Houston, Texas metro area or surrounding region. The role develops and maintains dealership relationships, sells online advertising solutions across the automotive network, and creates customized programs to meet dealers’ needs. The District Manager also works with marketing and operations teams to promote programs, provide account service, and track and improve account performance.

Requirements

• At least two years of sales experience; outside sales success is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and collaboratively toward established sales and marketing goals.
• Dependable, honest, and detail-oriented behaviors.
• Professional appearance and enthusiastic attitude.
• Valid driver's license and insurance, with required renewal.

Responsibilities

• Develop and cultivate new dealer prospects in assigned regions.
• Promote and sell online advertising solutions and programs across the automotive network of more than 100 properties.
• Initiate and manage dealer relationships that produce high-volume vehicle sales.
• Create customized advertising solutions and programs based on dealer and regional needs.
• Work with the marketing division to promote dealer programs and division-wide initiatives.
• Provide dealer customer service and regular account maintenance.
• Work with operations to track and optimize account performance.
• Organize and present compelling sales presentations to individuals or groups.
