About The Position

The Distributor position is a Part time, Temporary position. The Distributor is responsible for the daily delivery of newspapers and promotional material to drivers and pedestrians at strategic intersections in the city (traffic lights). Their work is fundamental to the dissemination of information and the visibility of the newspaper in the community.

Requirements

• Previous experience in material distribution (desirable).
• Availability Monday to Friday, with variable hours from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
• Flexibility to travel to different points within the assigned region.
• Ease of interaction with the public and communication skills.
• Ability to stand and move for several hours.
• Responsibility, punctuality, and commitment to daily delivery.

Responsibilities

• Distribute newspapers and promotional material at traffic lights within the assigned region.
• Proactively offer copies to drivers and pedestrians while the traffic lights are red.
• Ensure friendly and respectful treatment of the public.
• Transport, organize, and maintain newspapers and promotional materials in good condition.
• Comply with assigned distribution points and daily routes.
• Report any incident or irregular situation to the supervisor.
• Respect road safety regulations and act with caution on public roads.
