About The Position

The Distribution Tech performs and supports leads, supervisors, and staff with quality control, label inspection and separation, packaging, special instructions, and shipping to meet customer delivery deadlines while maintaining quality standards. The role is listed as a day-shift position, although the schedule provided is Wednesday 1:45 p.m.–8:00 p.m. and Thursday–Saturday 7:45 a.m.–8:00 p.m. The hiring rate is $18 per hour, with a $500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. The position requires regular attendance and compliance with company policies, including safety procedures and maintaining a drug-free workplace. Overtime or work on another shift may be required. The role has no supervisory responsibilities, and management may assign other duties as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to stand for two-thirds to a full shift daily.
Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and feel for one-third to two-thirds of the shift daily.
Ability to reach with hands and arms for one-third to two-thirds of the shift daily.
Ability to lift 50 pounds for one-third to two-thirds of the shift daily.
Close vision sufficient for clear vision at 20 inches or less.
Color vision sufficient to identify and distinguish colors.

Compliance with company safety policies and procedures and drug-free workplace policies.
Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening after an offer of employment.

Responsibilities

Inspect, separate, slot, and package label and print products accurately.
Ensure quality control standards are maintained.
Use the ERP system to accurately log time and materials.
Complete shipments and ensure packages are sent to the correct person or location according to the daily job schedule, instructions from a lead or supervisor, job tickets, or customer special instructions.
Communicate problems or quality issues caused by printing, laminating, or shipping errors to appropriate individuals.
Double-check shipments leaving the production facility for errors before they reach the customer.
Communicate with courier companies and drivers about shipping delays, special deliveries, and other issues that may affect customer deliveries, as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; use required PPE and follow safety rules and procedures.
Work overtime or on another shift as needed.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Maintain regular attendance and comply with applicable company policies, including safety policies and drug-free workplace requirements.
