The Distribution Team Leader will supervise and coordinate activities related to outgoing shipments, including verifying and keeping records of shipments and preparing items for shipment. This role involves providing necessary training to subordinates, supporting all areas as needed, and offering responsible leadership to facilitate decision-making and skill development among associates. The position requires ensuring timely completion of countermeasure reports, supporting cycle count activities, and adhering to ECI Phase in/out procedures. The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring on-time shipments by studying shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and methods. They will oversee both incoming and outgoing shipping and receiving activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and the condition of shipments, and supervise loading operations to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures. Additionally, the role includes inspecting material handling equipment for defects and standardizing procedures to improve efficiency.
