About The Position

The Distribution Operator supports ILA’s Distribution Center by ensuring materials are received, stored, tracked, and shipped safely, accurately, and on time. The role contributes to inventory accuracy, responds to shipment needs, and helps maintain quality and efficiency through teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

The position involves moving materials with forklifts and other lifting equipment, handling incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing orders, monitoring inventory in SAP, and operating packaging equipment. The Distribution Operator also maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area and supports Distribution and other operations teams as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Able to work in a group setting or independently.
• Self-motivated and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety-minded.
• Able to obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and lifting equipment to safely move palletized materials and drums.
• Receive, load, and unload materials, finished products, trucks, trailers, and containers.
• Pick and prepare orders using FIFO and preferred lot requirements.
• Perform inventory counts and monitor inventory levels using SAP.
• Operate stretch wrappers and pallet banding equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized distribution area.
• Support Distribution and other operations teams as directed.
