About The Position

Katz Coffee is seeking a Distribution Manager to lead our delivery operations, keep our fleet moving, and ensure our liquid love reaches customers across Texas and beyond—on time, every time. This role is ideal for a hands-on operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can pivot from big-picture route planning to jumping behind the wheel when the team needs it, and genuinely cares about the people, processes, and vehicles that make it all happen.

  • Hands-on proficiency with route planning tools (e.g. OptimoRoute, Circuit, Samsara, or similar)
  • Experience overseeing vehicle maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs, and managing fleet documentation and reporting
  • Comfortable using telematics platforms to monitor driver behavior, safety, and route performance—and using that data to coach and improve
  • Confident managing and supporting technology used by drivers in the field—troubleshooting devices, apps, and platforms as needed
  • Strong communicator and motivator who can build accountability, develop talent, and keep a team aligned under pressure
  • Valid driver’s license required and a clean driving record
  • Resourceful, proactive thinker who identifies issues early and brings solutions—not just problems—to the table
  • Collaborative mindset and low ego—ready to support a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no task is beneath anyone

  • Run a route when needed—this is a roll-up-your-sleeves role, and no delivery is beneath you

  • Produce fleet maintenance and performance reports for leadership, tracking costs, repair history, and vehicle health across the full fleet
  • Manage technology tools and platforms used by the driver team—training staff, troubleshooting issues, and identifying improvements to support day-to-day operations
