About The Position

The Distribution Line Coordinator is responsible for conducting and coordinating distribution line training; procuring, inspecting, and testing tools and equipment; investigating damage complaints; and responding to customer complaints. This position is posted at multiple grade levels, with increased educational, skill, or experience expectations for Senior–Principal roles. The listed minimum qualifications apply to the coordinator level.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in distribution line or distribution engineering, or equivalent related experience.
Good working knowledge of distribution operations activities.

Responsibilities

Investigate damage complaints, prepare reports detailing findings, and recommend resolutions. Complaints may involve service quality, high or low voltage, and landscape damage caused by company equipment or personnel.
Assist with pre-checking jobs and making customer contacts, and coordinate with stores, distribution crews, and applicable supervision to secure and provide crews with necessary tools and equipment.
Support technical training needs when requested and coordinate training with technical trainers when needed.
Conduct distribution line training as needed.
Inspect and test distribution line tools and equipment.
Promote and enforce the Company's Accident Prevention, Safety and Health Programs.
Assist line crews on jobs as required for work area protection and ground worker assistance.
Support service restoration activities.
Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
