About The Position

The Warehouse Associate supports the daily functions of the RaceTrac warehouse, ensuring quality orders are processed and shipped to designated locations in a timely manner. The role works through the end of the shift until all product is safely and efficiently loaded onto trucks. It requires work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures and humidity, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas, and work on weekends and holidays to fulfill store orders.

Requirements

At least 1 year of relevant experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Access.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds; frequently reach up to 72 inches; and repeatedly bend, stand, and reach while operating a pallet jack and/or forklift and retrieving items from lower shelves, with no or infrequent breaks.
Ability to work in cold environments up to -8° for an entire shift.
Ability to work rapidly at a constant pace for an entire shift in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with varying start and finish times, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Carry out daily warehouse tasks to support efficient and effective warehouse operations.
Use WMS unit technology to pick product for store orders in dry, cooler, and freezer areas, with freezer temperatures reaching -8°.
Stack products on pallets according to proper selecting procedures.
Operate an electric pallet jack and/or forklift to transport products.
Maintain and safely operate assigned equipment, including pallet jacks, WMS unit technology, and personal protective equipment; perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
Code dating product.
Clean the warehouse and associated equipment.
Stage products in designated locations for shipping.
Load products from designated locations onto delivery trucks.
Label totes with routing information.
Shrink-wrap products onto pallets.
Bale cardboard and dispose of garbage.
Sort totes and trays.
Follow food and warehouse safety regulations and immediately advise management of unsafe conditions.
