About The Position

The Distribution Center Associate is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, picking, putting away, and shipping products while meeting company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The role involves handling pallets and warehouse inventory, staging and loading outbound trailers, and ensuring products are handled and stored to prevent damage. Associates are expected to support company values, meet productivity and performance goals, follow applicable laws and safety practices, and keep the warehouse clean and free of debris.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of distribution experience.
• Basic mathematics and reading skills.
• Strong understanding of inventory flow.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and twist, stoop, kneel, squat, bend, and climb.

Responsibilities

• Live the company’s vision, values, and beliefs every day.
• Receive pallets aligned by vendor to ensure accurate, completed receipt by purchase order.
• Stage and load products in outbound trailers according to shipping best practices.
• Ensure loads are accurate, placing larger cartons on the bottom and lighter cartons on top.
• Stack library items from left to right to support safe unloading.
• Store, put away, pick, and ship products accurately and in a manner that prevents damage.
• Meet individual, team, and departmental productivity and performance goals.
• Conduct operations safely and in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Keep the warehouse consistently clean and free of debris.
