About The Position

The Distribution Center Associate assists the Distribution Center Supervisor in ensuring the cost-effective, efficient, and customer-focused operation of the Infinity Global Distribution Center. The average starting pay rate is $16.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.
At least 2 years of experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting, pulling, staging, and loading orders.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Knowledge of and ability to work in the metric system.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform other physical activities associated with a warehouse or distribution environment.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification and experience using a propane sit-down forklift, an electric stand-up reach truck, and an electric stand-up forklift, preferred for the forklift operator position.
Experience working with electronic warehouse management systems (WMS).

Responsibilities

Unload inbound shipments, including floor-stacked trailers and containers.
Load outbound shipments, including floor-stacked trailers and containers.
Accurately pick, pack, palletize, wrap, weigh, and stage outbound shipments.
Replenish warehouse inventory stocking and picking locations as needed.
Ensure safety at all times, stop unsafe activities, and immediately inform management.
Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
Clean and paint, and assist with installation of racking, signage, or other distribution center infrastructure as needed.
Ensure all items are put away properly and neatly.
Assist the Distribution Center Supervisor with other tasks as necessary.
Complete assigned tasks with accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-up.
Communicate professionally, accurately, and in a timely manner to complete tasks and resolve issues.
Oversee all phases of assigned projects to ensure completion within budget and schedule.
