About The Position

FleetPride is the largest aftermarket distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S. The Distribution Center Associate I provides support to FleetPride branches by expediting parts for delivery to company branches and customers. The role involves picking, organizing, handling, and stocking warehouse inventory, along with maintaining a safe and orderly work area. The work takes place in inside and outside conditions, with varied temperatures in a non-climate-controlled environment. Conditions may include minimal chemical hazards, vibration, dust, and equipment noise. OSHA-approved steel-toed safety shoes are required from the first day on the job.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalence certificate.
At least 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, shipment auditing, inventory control, and stock replenishment.
Ability to lift or carry parts over 60 pounds up to 15% of the time; most lifting and carrying involves parts weighing between 5 and 60 pounds.
OSHA-approved steel-toed safety shoes are required from the first day on the job.

Responsibilities

Pull and organize branch and customer orders for warehouse delivery by part number and quantity, following picking tickets and assigned priorities.
Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
Stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas.
Weigh materials or products and record weight and other production data on tags and labels.
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects and report damage to supervisors.
